Day 1: Introduction to the North American Energy Market – Natural Gas, Crude Oil & NGLs

To understand the North American hydrocarbon market, you need to understand how natural gas, crude oil and NGLs relate to one another. During these sessions, Bentek analysts will uniquely highlight how the North American hydrocarbon industry has become increasingly efficient and interconnected. Day 1 is designed for individuals who are new to the energy market or anyone looking to learn about other commodities and their interconnected relationships in North America.

Day 2: Analytics Forum with Breakout Sessions

Day 2 will explore North America’s re-birth in producing hydrocarbons, which is creating new relationships and transportation patterns. The day will begin with Bentek analysis featuring the first half of the “North American BTU Tipping Point,” which will discuss hydrocarbon dependencies, power burn, coal displacements and the North American supply/demand balance. External speakers will then provide commentary on the day’s theme. The afternoon will feature two concurrent breakout tracks with sessions on the gas, crude, NGL and LNG markets, allowing attendees to customize their day and focus on the commodities and regions that have the greatest impact on them.

Exports are becoming a reality and the return of market volatility is upon us. Day 3 will take a close look at the outlook for propane, coal and LNG exports, global demand and price forecasts. The second half of Bentek’s “North American BTU Tipping Point” will be featured and will be followed up with additional insight from key industry participants. The afternoon will feature two concurrent breakout tracks with sessions on the gas, crude, NGL and LNG markets, allowing attendees to customize their day and focus on the commodities and regions that have the greatest impact on them.
